The Results
When testing false non-matching rate after the removal of 5% of the images that were judged as the lowest quality by the Daon QAA, the result was a 0.0030 false non-match rate (FNMR) with an efficiency of 14.01, besting all other entries.
How it was Tested
An initial recognition threshold of 0.01 was set for 15 top Face Recognition Technology Evaluation (FRTE) algorithms. The Daon QAA was used to remove the lowest quality 5% of those images, and results with the new image set were tested for FNMR.
